INTRODUCTION TO STEM (full year on alternating days)
This course provides an introduction to welding, aviation radio-controlled airplanes and drones, small engines, precision machining, and wood construction through immersive lab routines. All applicants should have fundamental proficiency with decimal and fraction arithmetic, 3D spacial visualization, fine motor skills and computer operations. All students are expected to design and fabricate with aluminum alloy, computers, and pine & cedar wood species.
