Free, practical workshops for contractors, builders, architects, engineers, designers, suppliers, property professionals, and others working in the building trades.
PROFESSIONAL CREDITS | Each workshop offers 1.5 AIA HSW/LU credits and 1.5 BPI CEU credits.

MOISTURE MANAGEMENT: Tuesday, October 20
Understand moisture movement through building envelope assemblies, common failure points, and practices that support durable, healthy buildings.
BUILDING SHELL and AIR BARRIERS: Tuesday, November 3
Connect air barriers and air-sealing practices to comfort, durability, indoor air quality, and energy performance.
MECHANICAL VENTILATION: Tuesday, November 17
Explore why controlled ventilation matters and how it supports healthy indoor air in efficient buildings.
RESIDENTIAL HVAC FUNDAMENTALS: Tuesday, December 15
Build a practical understanding of residential heating, cooling, ventilation, and building-envelope interactions.
Each workshop is offered twice. Choose either the morning session, 9:00-10:30 a.m., or the afternoon session, 12:00-1:30 p.m.

Professional CNC Mill Operator Certification
Competency-based CNC training combining online coursework with hands-on experience using Haas CNC milling equipment.

Program Dates: September 3 - November 19, 2026
In-person Skills Sessions: Thursdays, 6:00 - 9:00 pm
Optional Virtual Office Hours: One hour each week, to be scheduled with participants

Professional Welding Development Program
An individualized, competency-based program for participants seeking employment, professional advancement, or industry-recognized welding qualifications.
Fall 2026
Program Schedule: Thursdays, 5:00 - 8:00 pm
Program Period: August 27 - June 10, 2026
Laboratory Instruction: 37 sessions totaling 111 instructor contact hours
Online Curriculum: Miller OpenBook
Tuition: $4,495
Participants work with an instructor to create an Individual Learning Plan based on their experience, goals, and demonstrated competencies. Training may include:
GMAW (MIG)
GTAW (TIG)
FCAW (Flux-Core)
SMAW (Stick)
Blueprint reading
Joint preparation and fit-up
Machine setup
Weld inspection
Fabrication techniques
Position welding
Participants who demonstrate the required competencies may have opportunities to complete qualification testing in accordance with the AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code—Steel. The number and type of qualifications earned will depend upon each participant’s skills, commitment, and professional goals. Testing fees, when applicable, may be additional.
