COOPERATIVE EDUCATION (CO-OP):

Cooperative Work Experience, commonly called Co-op, is a great resource available to all qualified Career Center students. Co-op is more than “just a job.” It allows you to evaluate what type of work you want to do, get real-world experience in the field you are studying, try out a variety of career interests, receive valuable training in technical skills, and learn the soft-skills required for successful employment.

Co-op experiences can be paid or unpaid and they can range in time from just a few hours to a long-term placement. They always look impressive on a resume!

For more information, please contact Len Schmidt, Cooperative Education Coordinator via email lschmidt@pahcc.org or phone (802) 382-1071.  Visit the Co-Op Website for more information.
