Addison Repertory Theater
Prerequisites: 10 credits on transcript upon entering the program, 2 credits of which must be college-prep English; interview with instructor. Year 2: a “C” average or better for Year 1.
Recommended Preparation: Courses in drawing, painting or dance.
Desirable Qualifications: Ability to work together as a team, artistic/creative ability, good reading and writing skills, a desire to advance professionally in the field.
Agribusiness Technology
Prerequisites: 10 credits on transcript upon entering the program.
Recommended Preparation: Biology, chemistry, two credits of math.

Automotive Technology
Prerequisites: 10 credits on transcript upon entering the program.
Recommended Preparation: Algebra I and Geometry, or related math, Intro to Technology, Physics.
Desirable Qualifications: A desire to advance professionally in the field; ability to read and comprehend textbooks, good manual dexterity.
Construction Technology
Prerequisites: 10 credits on transcript upon entering the program.
Recommended Preparation: Algebra I and Geometry, or related math; Intro to Technology, Physics.
Desirable Qualifications: Ability to work as a team, good manual dexterity.
Culinary Arts
Prerequisites: 10 credits on transcript upon entering the program. To move on to Level 2, a grade of “B” or better in Level 1. Recommended Preparation: Ability to complete mathematical computations independently.
Desirable Qualifications: Strong work ethic; team player; ability to get along with many people; a desire to advance professionally in the field; good manual dexterity.
Prerequisites: 10 credits on transcript upon entering the program. One semester of Basic Art or Visual Communications. Recommended Preparation: Capable of using computers and digital technology. Desirable Qualifications: Creative, enjoys using traditional art materials (paint, pastels, etc.) in addition to computers.
Diesel Power Technology
Prerequisites: 10 credits on transcript upon entering the program.
Recommended Preparation: Mechanical Science, Algebra I and Geometry, or similar math experience.
Desirable Qualifications: Good manual dexterity, ability to complete mathematical computations.
Forestry & Natural Resources
Prerequisites: 10 credits on transcript upon entering the program.
Recommended Preparation: Mechanical Science, Plant & Animal Science, Environmental Science.
Desirable Qualifications: Good attendance, good wrok attitude and habits, team player, an interest in learning more after graduation, enjoys working outdoors.
Health Careers
Prerequisites: 10 credits on transcript upon entering the program.
A grade of “B” or better in a college-preparatory, biology-based science, and a rigorous academic courseload. Interview with instructor. Recommended Preparation: Biology and one other science, two credits of math, concurrent enrollment in chemistry and/or physics.
Desirable Qualifications: Ability to interact respectfully with people of all ages, good written and verbal communication skills, strong work ethic, ability to work together as a team, ability to keep up with rigorous courseload.

Recommended Preparation: Reading and writing abilities; science aptitude; concurrent enrollment in psychology.

Industrial Design and Fabrication

Engineering/ Architectural Drafting
Prerequisites: Algebra I or Int. Math I Drafting I with a grade of B or better. Concurrent enrollment in Geometry or int. II or higher. 10 credits on transcript upon entering the program. For Year 2: Completion of Geometry and concurrent enrollment in an advanced math course.
Recommended Preparation: Math, physics.
Desirable Qualifications: Team worker, interest in computers, good verbal and written communication skills, plan on attending at least a two-year college, hardworking, patient, focused.
Sustainable Landscapes, Food Production & Turf Management
Prerequisites: 10 credits on transcript upon entering the program.
Recommended Preparation: Two years of science, two years of math, Plant & Animal Science.
Desirable Qualifications: Enjoys working outdoors; artistic ability; familiarity with computers; good manual dexterity.
Video Tech Arts
Prerequisites: 10 credits on transcript upon entering the program.
Recommended Preparation: Two years of English.
Desirable Qualifications: Creativity; comfortable with computers; good foundation in grammar, spelling and punctuation; patience.
