Quarter 2, 2011-2012

Welcome!!!

Calendar: Class meets every Tuesday for just under an hour.
AM: 8:50-9:45
PM: 12:15-1:10
Six classes: 11/15, 11/22, 11/29, 12/6, 12/13, 12/20

Goal: Accuplacer Retest 12/20, attain score of 85+

Tools:
Learning Express, online tutorial/practice application available through VSAC
Worksheets and dittos for test practice
Math notebook, folder, log sheet, pencil

Curriculum:
Whole Number, Fractions, Decimals, Percent, Basic Problem Solving, Test Taking Strategies . . . without a Calculator!

Expectations: Students will be on time every Tuesday
Students will use the coach time productively
Students will ask questions without fear
Students will be respectful of coach and students
Coach will be available for questions during coach time
Coach will be available outside coach time if necessary
Coach will be patient and respectful at all times
