The Makery

The vision of The Makery is to provide a place for people to imagine, experiment, network, collaborate, and create for personal and professional growth. The Makery will utilize the Hannaford Career Center’s infrastructure to provide all Addison County adults with a maker space. The Makery is a membership-based collaborative that currently offers an Engineering Lab/3D Printing, a Building Trades Lab, and a Costume/Sewing Lab. Currently, the Makery is open to adult members from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. every Thursday.

Membership information here.

Access to our sewing and 3-D printing labs for children 14 and up accompanied by a parent or guardian is expected to open in March!

Feel free to visit on a Thursday evening to see what we have to offer.  Membership is available at the door, or save time by completing an Adult Ed registration form and listing “Makery Membership” as your Adult Education Course and by printing and signing a Membership Agreement, Member Release, and General Safety and Conduct form before you come.

As membership grows and new lab space mentors are recruited, additional lab spaces will become available. If you have significant experience in one of our lab areas, consider being a Mentor and getting a discount on your membership!
